Glass Half Full has partnered with the French Quarter Management District to help make Mardi Gras more sustainable.
We work with hotels across New Orleans to collect unwanted beads and throws that may otherwise end up in landfills.
All beads collected through this partnership will be donated to Arc GNO, a local organization that provides employment opportunities to people with intellectual disabilities by sorting, packaging, and reselling Mardi Gras beads and throws.
How to Participate!

Please place your beads and throws in the hotel collection bin or leave them in your room upon checkout.

The Glass Half Full Team collects these beads and throws, and transports them to local partner organizations that work to clean, sort, and repackage these beads for future years — like ARC GNO.
